As a couple, George and Heather share a passion for seeing people experience holistic healing and freedom in Christ. Their shared ministry is a commitment to love people deeply in the midst of brokenness. This love for others springs from their own personal experience of seeing God’s grace transform their lives from places of brokenness to new freedom and healing in Christ.
Together, the Jemison’s believe their dual approach in ministry is unique. As a therapist, George will be a missionary to missionaries. George has accepted a counseling position at Cornerstone Counseling Foundation, which provides confidential and professional counseling, consultation, and training from a Christian perspective for individuals, marriages, families, teams, and organizations. Heather will be a missionary to the people of Thailand through serving with local organizations working to combat human trafficking, injustice, and abuse against women and children. Heather will join the offices of International Justice Mission as a Project Management Fellow, where she will support their work in rescuing people from slavery. Both are excited to see how God will use them to love and minister to missionaries and the people of Thailand. What George and Heather really need to be able to fulfill their dream and calling to serve the people of Thailand are people who will partner with them and provide monthly financial support. With your help, that dream can become a reality.
