Cindy comes to Paraclete with a variety of ministry experiences. Coming from an unchurched background, Cindy has a burden for the lost. She was part of two church planting teams in Orange County, CA, as well as the Women’s Director for the The Salt Company at Iowa State University, her alma mater, now one of the largest college ministries in the country. She became the Associate Director for Life Choice Ministries, a crisis pregnancy center near Kansas State University, for 5 years. Cindy loved training her consultants on how to share the gospel of Christ with their clients and created, Healthy Relationships, an abstinence program that is used in many public high schools in the area.
Cindy has been a happily married pastor’s wife for 30 years. She has felt privileged to work alongside her husband in the churches they have served. Dan and Cindy have 3 daughters, 2 sons-in-law and a 2 year old fur baby, named Ruthie.
Cindy has taught God’s Word for almost 40 years and is now grateful to bring the Aphesis Group Ministries discipleship process, Untying the Knots of the Heart, to churches in the states and around the globe. Cindy shares, “When we yield our lives to Christ, we get all of Him, but He does not get all of us. We all struggle with trust. We bring our personal baggage from our past with us into the Christian life. Our background often skews how we see God, ourselves and others, and hinders us in our Christian life by keeping us in condemnation, shame, guilt and fear. My husband and I have experienced firsthand, along with many from churches in the states and overseas, the healing process of the UTK program. My desire is to provide this process of healing and renewal to the churches of Jesus Christ.”
